This was one of my favourite jobs. We had such a great team. We were the first film to use the revamped Leavesden Studios, after all the Potter films, and the Harry Potter Studio tour has just opened. It was also the summer of the London 2012 Olympics, so there was this atmosphere of positivity and enthusiasm. The design I did above was for the training Mimic - it was never used but I had fun coming up with it. I spent months developing the design of the combat training range with Oliver and it pretty much turned out how I designed it.
